Just announced - Alienware M18X (Updated)
Here are preliminary details of Alienware's upcoming 18.4" Gaming laptop:
LCD: 18.4", 1920x1080, WLED, TrueLife glossy panel
Battery: 12Cell, 97WHr [I wonder why they didn't use the 9Cell 97Whr...]
GPU options (UPDATED):
2x AMD 6970M (CrossFire)
2x AMD codename BlackComb XTX (CrossFire). Sorry, I don't have the real name.
2x NVIDIA GTX 460M (SLI)
2x NVIDIA GTX 560M (SLI)
2x NVIDIA codename N12E-GTX2. Could this be the GTX 580M??
2x NVIDIA GTX 485M (SLI)
Will be available to order in Black or Red trim.
Update 1: Just got word that the M18X is going to have a 330W Power Supply/Charger. My, that's going to be one hell of a brick.
Update 2: It seems Dell has added a (more sane) 240W AC Adapter to the M18X, which is the same one used with the M17X R3.
Also, the M18X will have the same WiHD (Wireless HD) option as the M17X R3.
